Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:
2 1/4 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 eggs
2 cups (12-oz package) Chocolate morsels

Preheat oven to 375. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in small bowl. Beat butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in large bowl until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

Gradually beat in flour mixture.

Stir in morsels. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets.

Bake for 9-11 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.

What I did differently from the recipe:
Nothing.

What I'll do differently next time:
Nothing.

Verdict:
Thumbs up!! Man, are these good! I made about a dozen and then refrigerated the rest of the batter so we can make them as we want them. I think we have about 5 cookies left and they've only been made a couple of hours. Everything in this recipe was in my pantry - that was the best part about the recipe. Homemade chocolate chip cookies are the best!
